Baroque in Bolivia

Good morning!

First off, the music school would like to thank you for your generous donation to help them not only keep teaching the kids of San Jose de Chiquitos music but also to keep the entire baroque music culture alive in Bolivia! 🇧🇴🎻🎶🔥

This goes much deeper than we ever imagined and our impact on their efforts will forever be stamped into a pivotal changing point for them.  The change is going to be imprinted on these kids lives and families for literally generations.  I firmly know this after this most recent trip. ❤️‍🔥✨

I want you to know that this gift is far bigger than we can ever imagine.

The entire community of San Jose de Chiquitos is forever grateful for our efforts to support their music school and culture!

It pays for teachers that are SO GOOD at the violin to teach younger generations ranging from 7 years old to late teenage kids.

They are not only becoming very skilled violinists that can create lifetime careers from this opportunity but there is also proof in the schools that with the practice and dedication of music that it is also helping them with their studies in school and going further!

It not only impacts the students but it branches out so much more, it impacts the parents, families and the entire community of San Jose de Chiquitos and it’s also about to impact not only Bolivia but the entire community of the baroque music world!!!

They were just invited to the XV International Festival of Renaissance and Baroque American Music!!!  🎶🎼🎻🔥

This is absolutely incredible news!!!

And guess what!  They will be playing there on brand new violin strings that your donations helped provide!!!

In total, we hand delivered $1200 worth of brand new violin strings and $13000 cash to fund the entire 10 month school year which will get them through the entire year!!!

As we travel home, I have had some time to reflect and catch you up with this incredible thing that is happening down there, it’s much more than just a contribution. It’s transforming lives!

I apologize for just now updating you but it’s a lot to process and our travels have been some of the most challenging condensed travel itinerary yet.  Basically an unexpected sub-national election happened in Bolivia and forced our flight out of Bolivia by 24 hours.  If we had rebooked to a later date we would have been there for days which we cannot afford the time in our lives to do.  So, it was all or nothing and we absolutely knew for a long time now that we had to do this.

After visiting them for a second year in a row, it is so clear why we had to go and it was worth every single challenge along the journey and much more!
